Great Non-Plastic Plate for Toddlers

Today I was reading an article on Mercola.com called Never Feed Your Child Using This Because You Want Them to be Healthy. A lot of this information I already knew but it was a great refresher for me. As I was reading it I realized that not everyone knows about these things and how important it is to keep chemicals in plastics away from our children.
It is nearly impossible to keep ALL plastics away from our kids. One area where I feel like I have some control is in the feeding utensils I use for my daughter. I found this great wooden plate on amazon, Camden Rose wooden Plate, which I just ordered for her. I have been looking for some non-plastic plates, bowls, spoons, and forks and this one looks awesome.
The Mercola article is great and explains in detail a lot of the reasons why you should keep plastics away from children. Everyone is concerned with BPA (as they should be!) but there are a lot of other chemicals in plastics that we don’t even know about. I feel its best to minimize the amount of plastics we have in our house just to be on the safe side.
