I am very excited to finally share with everyone my new eBook, “The Holistic Mama’s Guide to Homemade Skin Care.”  This eBook is step by step guide to getting started making your own products at home. There are over 20 recipes in the book and all of them take 30 minutes or less using mostly ingredients you probably already own.

Why make your own?

You might be asking yourself why you would want to make your own skin care products? Well, I’ll tell you why I do. Most of the products I find in health food stores or online that are supposedly “natural” have a lot of ingredients in them that are not healthy. Some of them have long chemical looking names of ingredients in them that I try to avoid including parabens, petroleum, and phthalates. There are very few brands that I purchase and trust. The problem with that is these brands are expensive! The shampoo I like can be $12 a bottle, which is way too much. These are the two reasons why I started doing this – quality & price.

It’s not as Hard as you Think

It may seem overwhelming to add on another thing to make when cooking real food might already take up a lot of your time (which is super important). Most of the recipes don’t take very long to make in fact most are 30 minutes or less. My eBook takes the guess work out of this because it is full of step by step instructions that are easy to follow. You also have the added security of knowing that these recipes have been made before by a real person.

Wow! We are so on the same page. Making your own products lets you have complete control of what goes on your skin. :) My rule is that if you can’t eat it, or pronounce it…it’s not going in my recipe. Congratulations on your e-book!
