Coconut oil is one of my favorite oils to use in cooking and in skin care. I received a jar of Tropical Traditions Gold Label Coconut Oil to review. This was a great product to receive for a review because we use coconut oil so often.

I often use coconut oil as a moisturizer for skin and hair and it is included in many of the skin care products I make and sell in my online store. For this review I only used the coconut oil in food because the Gold Label is very high quality oil. The oil I use in my body care products is the Organic Expeller Pressed Virgin Coconut oil from Tropical Traditions.

This coconut oil is such good quality that I wouldn’t even mind eating it plain on a spoon just to get the health benefits of coconut oil. It has a very clean coconut flavor and texture. Since getting my bottle of oil from Tropical Traditions I haven’t used any other coconut oil because I really can tell the difference in quality from this oil and the others that you buy in health food stores. Tropical Traditions oils are also priced very well, I have compared prices to the other brands we purchased in the past and this oil is a better deal. Better quality and better price, can’t go wrong with that.

We used this coconut oil in the below three recipes to try it out and I did notice a difference in the flavor once I used it in recipes. Much more of a fresh flavor of coconut then other coconut oils I have tried.
