Equipment
- Glass measuring cup
- Silicone molds
- Kitchen scale
Ingredients
- 8 oz Shea butter
- 8 oz Beeswax
- 8 oz Olive Oil (or herb infused olive oil)
- 1/4 tsp Essential oil for fragrance
Instructions
- Using a kitchen scale, measure out the shea butter, beeswax, and olive oil.
- Pour all three into a glass measuring cup.
- Place the measuring cup into a put with simmering water, creating a double boiler.
- Heat on medium heat until all the beeswax is melted.
- Remove the glass measuring cup from the heat and stir in the essential oils
- Pour the liquid into your molds and allow to cool until completely hard
- Remove them from the mold and store in a small tin.
